Amur Royal is the caviar of a farmed hybrid of two sturgeons: the Amur sturgeon (Acipenser schrenckii) and the kaluga (Huso dauricus). The grains are 2.9–3.2 mm, the colour from light grey to almost black-green with a golden glint.

The taste is creamy, with a nutty note and a long finish. The cure is malossol — a minimum of salt, to keep the delicate taste of the caviar.

CaviPoint raises its sturgeon in tanks with natural water circulation, without antibiotics.
